Well, several pounds heavier I have decided to give it another go...I've been going out regularly for the last month or so and can manage to run (plod) around Ferry Meadows - the short route (2 miles) in the morning on my own twice a week and the longer lake (3 miles) with Rhona on Saturday mornings.
I'm a long way from where I was two years ago but closer than I was when I initially started training for the marathon, so watch this space....
